Golf in Belize
We have 2 golf courses in Belize in our golf course database.
Although golf is just beginning to develop in Belize that does not mean that the golfing is anything short of superb. There are currently only two courses in Belize, but that will change in the coming years.
Caye Chapel is a great 18 hole, par 72 course, located on a private island 12 miles from the coast of Belize. The only way to get to it is by air or by sea. It is only a few hours from the States, making it a great winter weekend getaway. There are plenty of luxury villas that you can rent for the night, weekend, or week.
The best time to visit Belize is the early spring months, March through May. These months boast the warmest temperatures and the least amount of rain, generally speaking.
Roaring River Golf Course
Roaring River Golf Course is a Par 64 executive style course. The double tees measure 1933 yards on the front nine and 1959 yards on the back nine giving a total distance of 3892 yards with a slope rating of 116.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
